Belhost provides bare-metal dedicated servers together with related infrastructure services aimed at businesses and technical teams that need dedicated, isolated environments. They also offer S3-compatible object storage, managed and remote hands services, and network-level DDoS protection. Belhost owns their server hardware and has its own on-site engineers.
Dedicated servers are offered across Europe in Sofia (Bulgaria), the Netherlands, and Sweden. Windows and several Linux distributions are offered, and the platform supports the cPanel and Plesk control panels for those who want a managed hosting environment. Storage can be configured with software or hardware RAID, KVM console access is available for remote administration, and bandwidth is provided on an unmetered basis.
The primary data center in Sofia is a carrier-neutral Tier III facility, which includes redundant power, including dual substation feeds, uninterruptible power supplies, diesel generator backup, alongside redundant cooling with continuous environmental monitoring. Network connectivity is provided by multiple Tier 1 and regional upstream providers over diverse fiber routes, the facility is IPv6-ready, and the network is backed by a 99.9% uptime guarantee. The facility holds several security and compliance certifications and uses physical security measures including video surveillance and fire detection.
DDoS protection is included at no additional cost with Bulgarian dedicated servers and operates as an always-on service rather than on demand. The protection combines cloud-based filtering with hardware-based mitigation, covering volumetric attacks at layers 3 and 4 as well as protocol-based attacks such as SYN and UDP floods. Traffic is inspected in real time to filter malicious requests while allowing legitimate traffic to reach the protected service.
The S3 compatible object storage option is intended for backups, archives, and application assets such as uploads, media, and generated files. An S3-compatible API is available for use with existing tools and workflows. Data-protection features include object versioning for recovery from accidental overwrites, encryption for stored objects, and immutability policies that protect selected data from deletion or modification during defined retention periods.
Support is available around the clock through email and a ticketing system, with engineers present at the facility to carry out hardware work and remote hands tasks such as diagnostics, upgrades, migrations, or hardware replacement.
