Free Range Cloud is a hosting provider, operating a geographically distributed network with points of presence across the United States, Europe, and Canada, including locations in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Winnipeg, and Halifax. Equipment is housed in colocation facilities at each location, and data centers are described as having redundant power and secured access.

KVM-based virtual private servers are available across most of their locations, with plans including redundant storage, blended transit, and both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing. The company also offers LIR-related services such as ASN sponsorship and resource sponsorship. For managed services the product line includes managed email hosting on dedicated resources with a web-based administration interface, managed web hosting with a control panel, and network and backup management services. A cloud-managed Wi-Fi service compatible with enterprise access points is also offered.

Free Range Cloud operates on flat-rate monthly billing rather than usage-based pricing and offers billing in Canadian dollars for Canadian residents, alongside support inquiries being handled by senior technical staff rather than general support tiers.
