Company description

GMHost is a hosting provider offering virtual private servers (VPS) and dedicated servers on Linux and Windows, colocation, managed servers with administrative support, domain registration in gTLD and ccTLD zones, SSL certificates, DDoS protection, and backup services. All VPS plans use KVM virtualization and SSD storage, with a selection of Linux distributions and Windows available as operating systems. Free control panels such as HestiaCP, FastPanel, and aaPanel are offered on VPS plans, while dedicated servers are managed through the DCImanager panel.

The company operates data center facilities in Tallinn (Estonia) and in Germany, with VPS services additionally available from a location in Ukraine. The Estonian site is hosted at the InfonetDC facility and includes redundant power systems, backup generators, climate control, and fire protection systems. The German facility, Firstcolo, holds ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications and features redundant power and cooling systems along with controlled physical access.

Dedicated servers are built on platforms from vendors including HP, DELL, and Supermicro, and clients receive full root access along with IPMI or IP-KVM for remote hardware management. The VPS infrastructure relies on SSD-based distributed storage and KVM virtualization.

The managed server service bundles a dedicated or virtual server with round-the-clock administration, including initial configuration, monitoring, backup management, security patching, and application-level support. This service is intended for businesses that require server infrastructure without maintaining in-house IT staff, with support for common use cases such as remote access and web hosting. Both Linux and Windows configurations are available in this managed tier.

GMHost guarantees 99.7% service availability with compensation for downtime, alongside technical support around the clock with basic server administration. Accepted payment methods include card payments via Stripe, bank transfer, electronic payment systems, and cryptocurrency. The company provides services to both individuals and legal entities, with VAT invoicing available for clients in the European Union.
