SakuraServer is a hosting provider specialized in unmanaged dedicated servers, virtual private servers, colocation, and custom server and network solutions, with a focus on connectivity between China and international networks. SakuraServer maintains its own racks in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Wuwei, and operates data center facilities in Shanghai (SS-SHSJ, on the ChinaTelecom CN2 network) and in Wuwei, Gansu (SS-GSWW).
The dedicated server lineup spans locations in China (Shenzhen, Wuwei, and Shanghai), France, Canada (Beauharnois, Quebec), and the United States (Lenoir, North Carolina). All dedicated servers are self-managed, with hardware prepared by SakuraServer staff. The Shenzhen data center is a Tier IV facility and operates on a BGP network with optimized Hong Kong connectivity, while the Wuwei location is connected via China Mobile (CMCC) and a ChinaTelecom dedicated line.
The VPS service covers multiple regions, with nodes across China, France, Canada, Singapore, and the United States. Most VPS plans use VMware virtualization, while the China multi-location VPS series uses KVM across ChinaTelecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom networks. All VPS plans include dedicated resources, RAID storage, support for custom ISOs, and compatibility with Linux, BSD, and Windows operating systems.
In addition to standard hosting, SakuraServer provides colocation services at its Chinese facilities and offers custom server and network plans for clients requiring optimized international connectivity. Orders for servers located in China are subject to manual review, and hosting HTTP or HTTPS websites on Chinese servers is restricted due to ICP licensing requirements.
Accepted payment methods include PayPal, Alipay, Western Union, wire transfer, and cryptocurrency. Support is provided through a ticket system, and services are offered on a fully self-managed basis.
