Skhron is a hosting provider operating since 2023 with a focus on privacy. Account registration does not require KYC verification or identifying documents such as a government-issued ID, driver's license, or selfie.
They provide KVM-based virtual servers, providing isolated environments and full control over the server. Custom ISO installation is supported across plans. Alongside standard VPS plans, Skhron offers VDS plans with a higher fair-use CPU allowance for sustained, compute-intensive workloads. This permits short periods of higher utilization while limiting prolonged usage that significantly affects other customers on the same node. Storage is available in SSD and NVMe variants.
Skhron operates its own network and uses its own server hardware rather than reselling infrastructure. The provider issues routed IPv6 prefixes with every server, while IPv4 addresses are available as an add-on. Network service is covered by an uptime SLA with service credits for downtime. Skhron’s infrastructure covers two European locations in Stockholm (Sweden) and Warsaw (Poland).
The billing system, payment gateway, and control panel are also available as native .onion services over the Tor network, allowing customers to access these services without exposing their IP address to the provider. Payments are processed through a self-hosted, non-custodial cryptocurrency gateway running on Skhron's own infrastructure. The provider accepts Bitcoin, Monero, and other cryptocurrencies, as well as conventional payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, and SEPA.
